EuPC Building & Construction Forum in June
The Building and Construction Forum, as part of the EuPC annual event, regrouped plastics converting companies and associations in order to discuss the important challenges ahead for the construction sector. Measuring sustainability of construction products, Sustainability core to product design and Innovation in plastics for buildings & conclusions were the main issues debated at the forum. Vicente Leoz Argüelles apprised participants of regulatory framework in construction sector. The insight on main challenges for the construction product industry by Christophe Sykes, Director General at Construction Products Europe AISBL was followed by Riccardo Viaggi, Secretary
General at European Builders Confederation with his overview of current market development and expectations from small and medium-sized construction enterprises. Moreover Michael MacBrien, Director General at European Property Federation addressed the view of building owners and investors. This event showed how the network with partner associations and customers has been strengthened in line with the vision of the division “make plastics the material of choice in building & construction.
